Joyner’s visions and dreams
call for us to focus our efforts on fighting a “Great Christian
Civil War”, (p. 22), against other Christians in the end times.
Joyner claims that his side’s spiritual warfare will wound many
of the Christians who disagree with him, “We did wound many
of our own brethren”, (p. 129). Joyner also claims that “the
day of the Lord” (p.36), will be when his side eventually defeat
all opposing Christians and gain complete control of the body of Christ.
Isaiah 13; 9 - 12, however, describes the day of the Lord in the following
way; “Behold, the day of the Lord come... with both wrath
and fierce anger...To lay the land desolate... For the stars of heaven
and their constellations will not give their light... I will punish
the world for its evil, I will make mortal man more rare than fine
gold.”
"And Jesus said, “If a kingdom is divided against itself,
that kingdom cannot stand,” (Mk 3; 24).
